My Journey
I am a passionate, persistent, and creative game designer currently pursuing a bachelor's in Media Arts and Science at Indiana University Indianapolis. My journey began as a kid who loved the Pokémon franchise and was eager to learn more about the games I adored. In high school, I dove into game design and discovered the magic of creating interactive experiences. This passion led me to specialize in building immersive worlds, coding innovative game mechanics, and designing intuitive UI. I am proficient in Unity, C#, Unreal, Godot, and level design, and I continually apply this knowledge to my work to further my understanding of game design and development.
I aspire to work as a game designer at Square Enix (Octopath Traveler) or Intelligent Systems (Fire Emblem), where I can contribute to the JRPG or tactical RPG genre. I want players to carefully weigh the strategic value of their moves and the risks involved, such as deciding whether to sacrifice a beloved character to save a village or complete an objective at the cost of abandoning the innocent.
When I’m not designing games, I enjoy diving into different genres of video games for personal enjoyment. Currently, I’m grinding gacha games like Wuthering Waves and Honkai: Star Rail, but I have a soft spot for any type of roguelike or roguelite. I’ve also been watching a lot of anime lately. If it’s an adventure or action anime, chances are I’ve seen it. I hope you enjoy exploring my work and gaining insight into my perspective on the gaming industry!
