Conquest

This document serves as a foundational blueprint for game development, outlining core concepts essential for pitching ideas to publishers. It not only acts as a technical guide but also as a persuasive tool that can significantly impact a game's success or failure in the industry.

My Role
  • Designed the level layout of the map, including the basic structure using Unreal Engine.

  • Crafted the lore and backstory of the world, focusing on narrative elements that justified game mechanics and enhanced immersion.

  • Used Adobe Illustrator to create a clear and cohesive visual representation of the map, named Workshop.

Contributions
  • Developed the backstory, even though the project was in its alpha stage and didn’t heavily integrate deep lore.

  • Blended inspiration from various games to introduce unique twists to the level design and narrative.

  • Ensured the game design document was highly detailed and effectively conveyed the game's vision to avoid potential rejection by publishers.
